A New Line of Silk Vestments!

I am introducing a new line of high-quality, magnificent silk vestments. The dalmatic I am wearing in some recent photos is a sample of the work I can produce for your church. The vestment is made if taffeta silk with a lining of habotai silk. All traditional liturgical colors are available for the material and the orphrey braid.

Every Chasuble will come with a maniple, stole, burse and chalice cover. Every bit of it will be made of 100% natural silk and never polyester or other man-made materials.

Every Dalmatic and every Cope will come with a stole and a maniple. The same standard of using only natural silk applies to these vestments.

TRADITIONAL VESTMENTS

Monastery Made Vestments was established to meet the needs of Clergy in need of reverent, dignified and quality vestments. Sadly, many vestments are made of man-made materials and the cost can still be very high. There is one chasuble made by a European studio that has very magnificent embroidery all over it. The cost is over $14,000. It is made out of Viscose, a material made from wood pulp.

Liturgical vestments used for the celebration of the Divine Liturgy should represent the best of our ability and the best of our resources. For this reason, it is most appropriate to use silk or damask for the making of sacred vestments.
